Designer, Weaver, Seamstress

Karlee Esler started sewing at the age of 6 and things spiraled out of control from there. Her love for textiles developed when she attended Red Deer College in 2006 to study Costume Cutting & Construction. After upholstering vehicles and then making mascots, she continued her post secondary education in 2009 with a diploma in Costuming for Stage & Screen from Capilano University in Vancouver. Achieving her dream of costume building, she worked for several years in the exciting but demanding film industry. When sewing woes outweighed the love of the craft, she uprooted from a city of 2 million to a village of 500. Weaving entered her life in 2014 and she hasn't looked back. Crimson Clover is a place for all her skills and ideas to blend and come to life.
